MAKE Beauty Review| #MAKEYourself

This week I had the chance to test out a cosmetic company that I was not previously aquatinted with. MAKE Beauty is a cruelty free beauty company that produces beautiful products. They were kind enough to provide me with the most adorable little samples.

I tested out the Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster, and the Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy

Both samples that I received were kind of  'your skin but better' shades. I wish I got more interesting shades because MAKE has a wide variety of colors, but I used the eyeshadow as a base and think it looks beautiful blended with other colors. The eyeshadow was very pigmented and was easily picked up by my brush. Overall I'm really happy with this shadow, and I look forward to trying out some of their full size colors. These are my two favorite shades!

As for the lipstick, I really liked the color, it was a subtle 'your lips but better' color. I know thats a cringe worthy term, circa YouTube 2007 haha, but I'm not sure how else to describe it. It had great color pay off and a satin like feel. I'd love to try scarlet oak!

I'm also a major sucker for presentation and how beautiful is MAKE's packaging?!  Their site also has some beautiful tutorials, I'd recommend checking them out especially with prom and graduation season coming up. Currently on my wishlist is the NAXOS| Shield and Protect set as well as the Satin Luminous Lip Gloss in Gold Leaf... how gorgeous would that be on summer vacation with a tan?
