One of the first things I do on Wednesday nights is light a candle, some of my favorites include Mahogany Teakwood, Bow Ties & Bourbon, Baja Cactus Blossom, as well as London- Tea and Lemon. If you're familiar with any of those scents you'll notice that I love darker cologne-esque fragrances as well as light fresh scents. I was really excited when I received Brooklinen's Bourbon & Blood Orange candle to review. It perfectly marries the darker scent with a lighter fresh orange fragrance. I highly recommend giving this one a try, especially if you're somewhat of a candle snob like me. And who doesn't love chalkboard painted jars?!
Before a shower or bath I like to apply a face mask, one of my favorite clay masks at the moment is from Era Organics. I've mentioned it before, but you really can't go wrong when pampering yourself with dead sea mud.
After showering I either use Tarte's Brazilliance Self Tanner or if I want to skip the tan I'll moisturize with coconut oil. Then I put on a fluffy robe :)
After watching a few YouTube videos from bloggers like +sunbeamsjess, +Samantha Maria, or Melissa Merk I wash my face mask off, following up with a cleanser, and Tea Tree Toner Water. I follow it with coconut oil or my regular moisturizer depending upon how dry my skin feels.
After finishing my skin routine I grab a pint of dairy free Ben & Jerry's. My current favorite is chunky monkey! Afterwards I either continue to relax and watch Netflix, or more YouTube videos, or sometimes I draft some blog ideas.
Let me know what you guys like to do to relax, any favorite products? Leave em' below!

Wow. You really know how to relax. I absolutely loved this post, and I love B&J Chunky Monkey too! I need to find some time to pamper myself soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, haha!! It's so necessary with my schedule. I'm also such a mask junkie so having an excuse to use one is awesome.
DeleteThat sounds like a great night!!! I love lighting candles!
ReplyDeleteI love that Tarte self tanner! It surprises me that so few people talk about it.
ReplyDeleteI know! It's so underrated, I love that it doesn't have a chemically smell.
