Hi Everyone! Hope you are doing well! You might remember that I reviewed a few CBD for Life products last month, my awesome friend KC over at CBD for Life sent me some more products to try out. (Thanks KC!!)

This time I focused on testing out products that I think my fellow college students will enjoy. Working part-time, while being a full-time student, and balancing all of life's other obstacles can sometimes be difficult... just check the sleep app on my phone, I'm sure none of the graphs look consistent. I'm currently in the final stages of my thesis paper, which is part of my majors 'capstone'. It's been stressful, but I am so excited to nearly be finished. This past month has been one of the hardest for me in terms of self care, I wasn't feeling my best and really had to make an effort to put myself first.
-- I'm thinking of writing a post about self-care for students-- comment below if you would be interested in reading that, it would include a few tips and products that made it easy to pamper myself.
Probably my favorite product that CBD/KC sent me was the CBD for Life Eye Serum. At 21 this isn't something I thought was important to include in my skincare routine, but I am so glad I tried this. I've had dark under-eye circles for as long as I can remember. I have tried a few eye products over the years, but after seeing no change I tossed them. Although I am not free from my dark circles, they seem to have drastically reduced as well as the little skin imperfections I saw in that area.
In addition to my classes, I work a part-time job in retail, although the shifts are only a few hours each day my back is killing me by the time I get home. I used to use Icy Hot sprays or rubs, but since going cruelty free I have found it really difficult to find a similar product that is not tested on animals. I tried the Pure CBD Extract Pain Relief Spray, it has similar effects to Icy Hot where it numbs the area it is applied, but it's even better since it's 95% natural. I'll admit the sensation doesn't last quite as long as the difficult to pronounce ingredient, animal tested versions, but I feel way better using this. You don't have to rub it in, just spray and sit back. It makes going to the next activity after work a lot more bearable!
The last product was also inspired by the hours spent on my feet. The product description reads:
Delivers gentle and effective moisturizing for tired over-worked feet. Let this indulging foot cream that combines natural oils and our patented German Extraction Method CBD erase away the day's stresses.
I can definitely agree! After showering, and before heading to bed for the night I have been using about a quarter sized amount of this refreshing lotion. My feet are usually incredibly achy by the end of the day, so much so that I often still feel the pain when I wake up the following morning. Using this lotion has greatly decreased that achy feeling. This lotion contains peppermint oil and smells lovely! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that works long hours on their feet, it would also be a great gift to pamper a mom with this Mother's Day.
Thanks again to KC for sending me these awesome products, they definitely helped me recover from the stresses of this past month. Let me know in the comments how you keep the stress at bay! Keep on eye out for next week's post where I'll be talking about coping with college stress. 💚👒
