Now that winter is upon us I have been getting back into wearing lipstick, I feel that it perfectly finishes my makeup looks and makes me look a bit more polished.
NOTE Cosmetics reached out to me recently and asked if I would be interested in trying their Matte Moist lipsticks and glosses, and of course I said yes! I love trying out new cruelty free brands, and wanted to see how their lipsticks stacked up against some old favorites of mine.

I wore each type of lipstick for an entire day to test out the formulation, and how it wore.
I started with (314) Mocha Rain. This color was not one that I have tried before, I usually opt for a red or pink toned lip color but was excited to venture outside my comfort zone. This lipstick was comfortable, and did not dry out my lips. It was very long wearing, I only required a light touch up after lunch. At only $10 a tube I am eyeing up the rest of the collection!
On the following day I gave the Matte Moist lipgloss a try. This transferred a bit more to my coffee cup, but I still found it to be rather long wearing. This lipgloss was comfortable to wear as well, and didn't make my lips flaky (why do some glosses do that? ugh). This gloss is only $9 and definitely out performs it's price point.
