Lemon Garlic Pasta:
What you'll need:
- HIÇ Olive Oil
- Broccoli (one head, or you can use one bag of frozen broccoli)
- 1 Box of Whole Wheat Penne
- Lemon Juice
- 1 Head of Garlic
- Fresh Cracked Pepper (optional)
- Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel and chop garlic into thin slices.
- Add olive oil to a small pan and sauté garlic. Remove from heat once brown.
- Boil water and add pasta and chopped broccoli.
- Once pasta and broccoli are cooked, remove from heat, strain, and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add sautéed garlic to the bowl, lemon juice (to taste), and olive oil.
- Mix throughly and serve. (You may add red pepper flakes, or cracked pepper for a more flavorful spin)
