When we first arrived Martin wanted to take a photo. If you've never been to Magic Kingdom there are at least 3 photographers on Main Street that you can line up behind to capture your photo in front of Cinderella's castle. We lined up near a photographer and waited our turn, once we were called up she took a few snaps and then called for the next person in line. That's when Martin asked the photographer to give her a second, he got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him.
I was honestly shaking with excitement for an hour after saying yes, and I'm so happy we have beautiful pictures to document the day. We spent the rest of the day floating around Magic Kingdom, bouncing between all of the areas, attempting to find the shortest wait periods. We had dinner at Tony's Town Square, a restaurant inspired by the Italian restaurant in Lady and the Tramp, and it truly was a bella notte.
I can't wait to see what 2020 holds. While it's only been a few days since the engagement I already started a bit of wedding planning. Don't worry--- it's in very early stages, I'm just trying to get a feel for my style and a possible venue. Work has been hectic, and I don’t expect it to slow down in the new year, and with one of my best friends also getting married I know I need to take moments here and there to begin planning the little things.
If you've made it this far, let me know in the comments below what sort of wedding related content you would like to see on my blog! I've also added a new blogger follow button in the top corner of the page. Previously I was just using bloglovin, but know that not everyone has a bloglovin account. Hit the follow button above if you would like to see more of my content.
Wishing you a wonderful 2020!
