I'm also counting my blessings at a time like this, I am very lucky to be in a situation where I can still work remotely, and am luckily in an area of NYC where if I do need to go out for essentials, or a walk most people seem to be social distancing and maintaining the suggested distance.
I'm lucky I have exercise equipment in my apartment, and routines to follow. Normally I would go to the gym a few times a week in my office building, but now our fitness instructors are providing classes via zoom. I'm also lucky to have a blog, as it gives me an additional activity. This week I've been working on SEO, since that's something I never fully invested in understanding. I'm also considering changing my blog theme.
During this time I think it's best to reflect on the things you're grateful for, and focus on the things within your control.
For me this is trying my best to cook nutritious meals, keeping things tidy, and working out when I have the energy. These three factors have been helping me keep my spirits up. You may have other things to add to your own personal list.
I'm curious, as many of you are also on week 3 or 4 of social distancing, are you over talking about it? Would you rather see typical cruelty free blog posts, or do you like the open conversation about what myself and others may be doing to cope? Please let me know in the comments!
What's your opinion?
