Summer 2020 has been interesting, to say the least, there have been so many new experiences; wedding planning, adjusting to social distancing guidelines, and face masks becoming the hot new accessory.
While adjusting to this new way of life I've noticed that I have both added and removed things from my day bag. I thought it may be fun to show you what I've been toting around recently.
- The Bag
- My go-to bag this summer has been the MZ Wallace Micro Sutton. I have been loving MZ Wallace bags these past few months, I purchased two this winter that I found incredible for commuting nad travel. These bags are lightweight, durable, washable, and I think they're pretty cute!
- The Wallet
- My most used wallet is the Chanel Caviar Card Case, I throw this in any bag I'm toting. I prefer card cases rather than bulky wallets. I find it easier to grab and go.
- The Essentials
- Oxygen Health & Wellness Hand Sanitizer
- The Oxygen team was kind enough to send me a few bottles of their sanitizer last month. I created a station near my front door so I can always grab a few single-use sachets or pop a bottle in my bag before I head out the door.
- Oxygen hand sanitizers are cruelty-free, vegan, contains 70% alcohol (the CDC recommends 60% or higher), and made in the US.
- Oxygen has donated 50,000 bottles to organizations in the state of Florida.
- Winky Lux Rainbow Tinted Lip Balm
- I received this in my summer FabFitFun box, and it has been my favorite balm to throw on for an effortless, neutral look. While it hasn't been used as frequently as I would have liked this summer (re: face masks) it's been great to throw on for outdoor dining date nights.
- Face Mask
- I don't have a favorite to link just yet. I feel like it's been trial and error as the seasons change. For summer I'm loving silk/satin, or cotton masks. I've found these to be the most breathable, and they irritate my skin the least.
- bkr
- I love my bkr bottle. I typically carry the 500ml version wherever I go.
- Hab
- Sometimes I need a little incentive to drink my water, so when the Hab team sent over a few samples I was intrigued to see how I would get along with these tiny tabs.
- Hab's naturally flavored bits(tabs) are packaged in recyclable packaging and are an easy way to make your water more interesting. I typically add 3 to my water bottle to flavor to my liking.
- I love that these also help to cut down on the account of single-use beverages I may be tempted to by while I'm out and about.
- Hab currently comes in two flavors, clementine & lemon-lime. Both are tasty, but lemon-lime is my personal favorite.
