Valentine's Day was special for a lot of reasons this year. It was my first Valentine's Day married. Despite our crazy schedules my husband and I made a weekend of it. We spent Saturday afternoon in Brooklyn, we explored Greenpoint, visited a plant shop, and tried a delicious Mexican restaurant.
A few days prior to Valentine's Day I received an invitation to the ONE/SIZE launch, which was their first in-person event. It was a surprise launch event and I was so excited in anticipation of what Patrick Starrr would release next. I had followed Patrick Starrr on Instagram for quite some time, and his looks are always amazing.
If you arent familiar with Patrick Starrr, he is a professional makeup artist that got his start on YouTube. His line ONE/SIZE beauty is an inclusive brand made for everyone. His line focuses on individuality, inclusiveness, and freedom of expression. The line is both vegan and cruelty-free.
The event took place at the Museum of Sex which is located on 5th Avenue in Manhattan, NY. Both the PR/event staff and the museum staff were so kind and the event was incredibly fun.
After my vaccine card was checked, I was directed up the stairs where I was greeted by the models and guided to sit in a press room. The press room was filled with other bloggers, influencers, and journalists. The walls surrounding the room had the campaign video projected on it, which feature's Patrick's brother Paul. Paul is showcasing his Colorguard skills and the video is also a bit of a nod to Patrick Starrr's own history. Patrick was in his high school's marching band.
When Patrick walked in the room you could feel the excitement in the air, not only was the press excited for his announcement but his parents and best friend (since high school) were there to support him.
Below is a snippet of Patrick's introduction.

After the unveiling, the press was directed down a mirrored hallway to meet Patrick himself, and play some games. It was unreal meeting Patrick in person and he was so so kind! After we snapped a pic I walked into the first game room and tried my luck at a few games. I wasn't successful but I still had so much fun chatting and competing with other guests.
Before I left the creative team got me color-matched and sent me home with a BBB of my own!
Once I got home I redid my makeup with the Beauty Blur Balm. It was much needed after masking up for a majority of the day. I'm planning to write a 'first impressions' post next, so stay tuned for my thoughts on the BBB.
Once I was ready to go, my husband and I went out to dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants which is always the perfect date night treat. Their Valentines Day cocktails were incredible.
I'd love to hear about your Valentine's Day in the comments, and which product reviews you would like to see from O/S!
